My wife asked me to write a little note about my use of the Alpha-Stim.

After a vicious dog attack last summer, I developed CRPS/RSD. The pain in my hand progressively increased until I could no longer do everyday normal things. My skin got bluish, cold and clammy, the nails brittle and the slightest contact with anything really hurt bad. With CRPS/RSD comes a long road of treatment and therapy. In addition to nerve blocks and medication, it was recommended that I use a unit such as an Alpha Stim.

As a small business owner, with 22 employees, I do not have the option of taking disability. I started to use the unit in December 2007. I get daily relief from the pain and four months later my condition is improving, thanks in part to Alpha Stim. It gets me through my day!

I just wanted to take the time to tell you my story and how the Alpha Stim is saving my life.

I am a sixty year old woman with depression, fibromyalgia, a whiplash from an accident 18 years ago which broke 3 molars when my head snapped forward (I was hit by a truck on the highway) and L1 is completely broken in half. I also have scoliosis and one leg is shorter.

My life consisted of only being able to work for short periods of time and the rest of the time I was on the couch or in bed. I have to hire people to mow my lawn, do yard work and clean my home. My son comes over in addition to help me out. I have a disabled wheelchair permit for my car. Only the most strong pain medications helped a little but, being addictive, I can’t stay on them.

I get some relief from sports massage/body work which is very painful while he’s doing it but I have less pain later. It was my practitioner, Leif, who told me about the Alpha Stim. Leif is a Certified Neuromuscular Therapist who has worked for athletes in the Pan American Games, the 88 Winter Olympics, the 90 Goodwill Games, the 96 Olympics and is a Sport Massage Therapist for the Seattle Sonics.

I started the Alpha Stim on March 7th. The change was HUGE. I couldn’t believe it. It is now 4 months later and I can mow my lawn, run the vacuum, move boxes, bring up my groceries and have started camping again!!! I just purchased a sail boat. My friends are extremely amazed by my progress and the speed of the recovery. I am still on my antidepressant medications but have great hopes for coming off these medications entirely. I feel emotionally stronger and less depressed day by day. The affects of the Alpha Stim are cumulative which is the icing on the cake. I even take my machine camping!

Additionally, I want to thank you for your exceptional support as I learn how to use the machine. Each time I call I get more and more extremely helpful information. I’m becoming an Alpha-Stim guru J .

I just can’t find the words to thank you enough. I’ve got a life again!!!

I am a 68-year-old very active woman. We live in northern Minnesota and we burn wood for heating all winter. My husband is 71 and unable to help much, so it's just my job. Last fall we had a gentleman come in with his cutter splitter and cut up and split 21 cords of firewood for us. Then I began hauling it into our shed to store for the winter. Some I hauled into our basement and piled for winter use.

My sciatic nerve in my left hip and leg began to cause pain. I CANNOT TAKE PAINKILLER MEDICINE AS IT MAKES ME SICK AND I VOMIT. I suffered day and night. I began taking Aleve twice a day and that didn't even touch the pain. So I hurt all the time. Finally, a friend told me about Alpha-Stim. I went to Marlene Stenlund at the Deer River Clinic, after I had talked to the doctor. I started using the Alpha-Stim on December 13, 2007. I am still using it and I am almost pain free. I also have a great deal of arthritis in my back and hip. When I went to the Chiropractor, Dr. Davis, he said after X-rays that I have the last disk in my back damaged on the one side and that probably was causing the problem. Although he said my back is in good condition for a person my age. I have now began walking as I use to every day on the treadmill for 25 minutes a day and hope to work up to a hour a day to keep strong.

It [Alpha-Stim] is a real blessing and I continue to use it every day, and can recommend it to anyone who has pain.

In February 2006, I was diagnosed with a peripheral nerve neuropathy disease called Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP), and Guillian-Barre Syndrome (GBS) an autoimmune disease that affects peripheral nerves. I suffer from a residual neurological deficit that causes paresthesia and pain in most of my joints. I have double vision, extreme fatigue, tingling in my hands and feet, slurred speech caused by facial paralysis, stiffness and pain in my upper and lower back makes it difficult to walk.

I was lucky in finding out about CES and the ALPHA-STIM 100. I do my daily physical therapy routine using body training machines at a local Gold’s Gym. A professional body builder was using the ALPHA- STIM 100 for muscle pain. I was curious about the probes and ear clips connected to this small square white box. Learning about CES via the Internet I have found vast amount of research from Europe and the United States and have read about how CES has helped so many people with pain and other medical problems.

My neurologist, Rehab physician, pain specialist and myself decided that CES might help my pain and was worth a try, as I was in a great deal of pain even with all the physical therapy and narcotics. All I can say is that I wish I would have known about the ALPHA-STIM 100 in February 2006. From the very beginning the probe therapy helped with my pain. My back pain and joint pain is a lot better since I have been using the ALPHA STIM 100. My treatment plan is modeled using the MET; CES Protocol designed by Daniel L. Kirsch, Ph.D., D.A.A.P.M.

I have been able to reduce my pain medication and have a better quality of life thanks to the ALPHA-STIM 100. I use to wake up at night from pain. My insomnia from pain has been pretty much been cured and I no longer need sleeping pills. Daniel L. Kirsch, Ph.D., D.A.A.P.M., and Electromedical Products International, Inc., has helped me regain a pain free life.

I am a 67 year old female that was born with a hemangioma on the bottom of my left foot. I want to tell you about my experience with the Alpha-Stim unit.

I had experienced swelling and pain with my foot until 1984 when I had my foot amputated at the ankle. I was never able to get a prostheses to fit properly because of the ankle bones. I had "real pain" and "phantom pain". My real pain felt like a bolt of lightening which lasted from 1-2 hours to 3 days. I have taken pain medicine and used the TENS unit with some degree of relief.

in May of this year, I had a BK amputation to try to control the pain and hopefully get a better fit on my prosthesis. The real pain was relieved some, but not the phantom pain. In July, Dr. Gould, my chiropractor, asked if I would like to try a unit he had been introduced to. I was rather reluctant to try, but thought it might help. I went to his office twice. Since I could not feel anything when I was using the unit, I felt it wasn't doing anything. Dr Gould suggested that I come to his office when I was having the lightening bold pain to see if I could tell a difference in the pain level. I had a sharp pain, then after about 5 seconds I had another pain, however, this pain fizzled out and did not continue!!! I was very surprised and felt like something had really happened. Dr. Gould suggested I continue using the unit which I did six more times. I still experienced some pain, but it was much milder. To my surprise, I no longer had any phantom pain and the really pain can be controlled with a 20-30 minute session using the unit. I only have the sharp pain after being on my feet for long periods of time.

I now have a personal unit I can use whenever I feel the need. I also use my unit on my shoulder and neck. I am so pleased with my unit I tell anyone with pain about it. I only hope they contact a doctor who will help them as I have been helped.

Thank you for putting such as helpful machine on the market. It is easy and painless to use. An additional benefit is that I no longer am taking any pain medicine.

For many years I have wanted to send a letter thanking you for selling me the Alpha Stim 100. It has been an integal part of my life, especially since I have severe lower back problems. I have been using it since 1993 and it still works perfectly. Since then, I have never needed any type of pain pills for my back or any muscular disorder. I also clip it on my ears every morning to start my day as it seems to get me focused and result in greater effeciency in my business affairs. I have never before sent a letter praising the attributes of any product, but unless anyone has experienced chronic pain, they couldn't begin to understand the true meaning of pain relief.

My wife got the Alpha Stim 100 in 2005 while going through therapy for back and muscle pain. I started using the Alpha Stim 100 to see if it would relieve the pain I have suffered in my knee since I had surgery on it over 4 years ago.  After only 2 days of using the electrotherapy stimulator the pain has disappeared. I would not have believed this was possible if I had not experienced it for myself.

This past Christmas Eve we had dinner at a friends home and at the last minute one of the guests could not attend due to a crushing Migraine headache. She was missed but at yet another party on Jan 1st. Gayle was in attendance. I expressed empathy to Gayle for her Christmas Eve headache, and she explained that only in the last day or so, she was beginning to feel good. I told her that over the years I too have suffered from these headaches, but not on a regular basis. The last Migraine I had was over 3 years ago. My particular version of Migraine has traditionally started with a substantial loss of vision. It is a sensation so scary that words can’t explain. After about 30 minutes of vision distortion, the pain begins to kick in. Pain of excruciating nature. Nausea, drooling, and parts of my body going completely numb and ice cold are the next sensations in the experience of this catastrophic headache. When the headache would end, there would be a few days of lingering pain and nausea. Decades ago I tried taking the medication called Percodan which is a strong pain killer. It did nothing whatsoever for the pain and that goes for taking 2 pills!

I originally purchased my Alpha Stim 100 as a tool that might help me heal from a very deep anxiety condition that I've had since my early 20's. I have found relaxation and very easy deep breathing when using the Alpha Stim, but to say that my anxiety is cured would be a lie. I may need to finesse my use of Alpha Stim regarding power levels and how often I use it. Again, I've had my condition for approximately 30 years.

After the following that I am about to share, you can rest assured that I am going to embark on an earnest quest to see if Alpha Stim may heal my anxiety.

The very next morning after January 1st, when I'd spent time with a friend talking about her horrible Migraine headache, the fickle finger of fate had me experience my first Migraine headache in 3 years. I was brushing my teeth and it began. To explain the severity and panic that was setting in is impossible. Yet somewhere inside of me was a mature resignation that perhaps comes from being 51 years old. The vision loss was about the worst severity I can remember, and I couldn’t comfortably walk. I was trying to gear up for a lulu of a Migraine.

In most areas of life when it comes to any type of healing modality, I always feel like the bridesmaid and never the bride. Nothing works for me.

This letter is being written to tell you that this morning I have experienced a true miracle. I decided to see if the Alpha Stim 100 could treat Migraine. I couldn’t even see the ear clips, and regarding putting drops of water onto the felt pads for electricity conduction---forget about it. I stumbled into the kitchen, and dipped the ear clips into some water and put them on. The intensity level of Alpha Stim 100 goes from 0 to 6. Normally for my relaxation sessions, I have found 3 ½ to be my comfortable level. This morning I couldn’t even see the numbers on the dial, and I just dialed up until I could feel pulsating on my ear lobes. Eventually when my vision returned I found out that this turned out to be level 6. Next I lay down on my couch and spent the next 20 minutes with my eyes shut. I found it interesting that nausea was not beginning to occur, and any headache pain was almost imperceptible. At the end of the 20 minutes the machine shut itself off. I opened my eyes and still experienced some vision loss. After a second 20 minute session, I opened my eyes and was able to see perfectly. I used the Alpha Stim 100 for a 3rd session, for a total of 60 minutes. Then I decided to get up to see the results. Once again, I am in the happy throes of a true miracle. I am writing this letter feeling a little bit of hunger in my belly which tells you that nausea isn’t present. Other than a very, very slight headache on my right side, I am utterly fine. I’m just about to head out for errands, and if that isn’t a miracle, I don’t know what is.
